Used as a counterpart to Type 18; the pipe fits through the connector. These pipe connectors are characterised by a high degree of corrosion resistance. The black paint penetrates deep into the material and prevents rusting from the inside. The paint is not UV-resistant and is therefore not suitable for outdoor use.
